Knicks Buzzer Beaters or Game Winners

Buzzer Beaters or Game Winning Shots are the most exciting part of basketball apart from winning the ultimate prize “The Title“.

As you look back over this video, how many can you remember as a fan and do you think Lin’s winning shot in Toronto or Anthony’s two shots (1st to take to overtime then the 2nd to win the game) against Chicago last season deserve to be on this list?

The Larry Johnson 4 point play vs. the Pacers which was ranked number 2 in this video was one of the best ever moments for the Knicks and personally my favorite buzzer beater moment. I loved how after he hit the 3 to tie the game, he was calmed down by other Knicks players so Johnson could control his emotions to hit the free throw to give the Knicks a 1 point lead and what ended up being the game winning free throw.

Of course don’t forget the Alan Houston shot heard around New York City. His shot got a crazy bounce on the rim and the picture of Alan running down the court punching the air, puts a smile on my face right this minute.

Let us know at the SWAG which one was your favorite all time buzzer beaters or game winning shots.
