Knicks Free Agency Look In: Cheap Power Forwards Who Can Help

Now that the draft is over the Knicks can focus on free agency. Here are some of the players that would interest me at a very affordable price.dejuan-blair-1

Dejuan Blair: Dejuan is my favorite of the bunch. He is still young at 24 years old. He has ton of experience in the playoffs under the tutelage of Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs. He has a career average of almost 8 points and 6 rebounds per game. He can bang down the low, hit the occasional jumper and hold his own in the paint. Dejuan is the perfect player to share minutes with Amar’e.

Kevin Jones:  Definite sleeper. He has the size to control the paint, box out and handle himself on the boards. He also has a steady jumper that is vastly underrated. With playing time and consistent hard work on his end, Jones could be a valuable rotational player in the NBA and on the New York Knicks.

I really think Thomas Robinson would be good for the knicks, he can get boards, a nice touch from mid range and attacks the rim with ferocity.

What you think about Hansborough being a free agent now? Think he definetley fits the need for tough D and boards off the bench

Was thinking of him today as well.
