Knicks News: Amar’e Stoudemire In, JR Smith Out?

With the series tied at one game a piece, Amar’e Stoudemire is set to return to action and is likely to play 10-15 minutes off the bench.  Unfortunately for the Knicks, the added reserve firepower may just be a replacement and not an addition.

As reported on Twitter by ESPN’s Ian Begley, the Knicks Sixth Man of the Year award winner is listed as questionable for game three.

Smith has not shot the ball well during the playoffs, but losing him for the game may be a huge loss for the Knicks.

Coach Woodson told reporters that Smith had a high fever, reports Al_Iannazzone of NY Newsday.

Game three is tonight at 8pm in Indiana.
