Who Would You Start

After looking into some other statistics from a website called  82games.com  I would like to get you(KNICKSWAG followers), to come up with the 1st unit the Knicks should use and why.

I will give you some statistics to maybe help you:

The 82game.com website shows the amount of points scored by each player in their respective position vs. the amount of points scored against them in each position.  These statistics are per 48 minutes played.

I will give you each players breakdown of points  averaged last season versus points scored against them last season, per 48 minutes. I must add, I have only done this study on the players that played in the NBA last year.

POINT GUARDS

Felton (17.3 – 20.0)

Kidd (10.9 – 20.1)

SHOOTING GUARDS

JR Smith (21.4 – 18.9)

Brewer (16.2 – 18.1)

Shumpert (15.0 – 21.9)

SMALL  FORWARDS

Anthony (29.4 – 17.2)

Novak (22.9 – 18.2)

JR Smith (22.4 – 20.3)

Brewer (13.1 – 16.2)

POWER FORWARDS

Anthony (39.0 – 17.4)

Stoudemire (23.4 – 20.2)

Novak (22.6 – 17.8)

CENTERS

Stoudemire (31.8 – 16.6)

Chandler (16.2 – 14.7)

Camby (8.2 – 14.8)

Time now for you to tell Knickswag what you would do?

  1. Felton (PG)
    Brewer (2G)
    Chandler (C)
    Stat (PW)
    Melo (SF)

That leaves us with a deep bench to rotate in and around starting 5.

  2. Great Post. For me I would start with Felton, Brewer, Melo, Stat, and Chandler. Thats how my lineup would look like.

  3. Kidd (PG)
    JR Smith (SG)
    Anthony (SF)
    Stat (PF)
    Chandler (C)
For me this is the best five starter… I don´t see Felton in his best level right now. But we will see.

Once Shump comes back, the Knicks have a perfect bench like last year! LETS GO KNICKS!!!
